2011 Annual Member Meeting

Non-Members are welcome to attend!

Sunday May 1st, 2-4PM at the Museum, 25 Common Street (old schoolhouse behind the Pilgrim Church)

Election of officers, reports from committees and a short presentation "Southborough and the Civil War".  Light refreshments will be served.  Please join us!

We are also looking forward to encouraging potential non-members to join the Historical Society and help us continue our mission to preserve and promote the history of Southborough and it's people.  We have a great group of people that work regularly at the museum but more help is always needed to help maintain our collection as well as to help with the displays, plan events and many other assorted activities.

As part of this years meeting, we are also appealing to those who can support our cause and to consider a donation.  Since we signed our 2nd 10 year lease with the town in 2007, we have been responsible for the total operating cost of the Museum.  This includes heat, electricity, water, phone, alarm monitoring, insurance, snow removal, general repairs and maintenance.  These costs are significant for our organization that generates it's revenue simply from donations from our members and friends as well as from the sales of our various merchandise and books we have on sale in our Museum store.  So we could really use your help this year so please consider a donation and/or volunteering to help our cause.   Below is a membership and donation form.  We sincerely appreciate any assistance you can provide!
