Betsy |
Betsy M. Este died Oct. 19, 1850 AEt. 26 yrs. 11 mos. Daughter we miss thee
from our fireside circle Our number lessens fast as time rolls on: Three
of thy sisters in four years have left us And now to join their number thou
hast gone. Yet memory, true to her most precious treasure, Enshrines thee
deep within each loving heart. Daughter, in spirit thou art with us ever
We hope to meet thee where we ne'er shall part. |

Susan |
Beneath this stone lie all that was mortal of Susan S. Este died Oct. 13,
1849 AEt. 20 yrs. Meekly she dawned in her young beauty upon earth but ere
the morning of her day had risen she faded into heaven. Though very lovly
and greatly loved she was resigned in her pure and prepared spirit to quit
the fondest hopes of time in faith of the blessed life brought to light by
Jesus, in which nothing that is good can die. And while pitying those whom
she left in the grief of separation it was with holy consolation of meeting
them in that deathless region where no farewells are spoken and where tears
are no longer shed. |
